Stephanie Tamayo was born in Miami, FL, and embarked on her journey in dance at the age of three; training in styles such as acrobatics, ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip-hop, showcasing a versatility that would later reflect in her teaching. Stephanie discovered an innate passion for dance at a young age and began assisting and teaching while still in high-school.

Stephanie graduated high-school from Coral Reef Senior High’s Visual and Performing Arts Academy for dance and participated in their nationally award winning competitive dance team. Stephanie later graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, where she then worked as a registered nurse for 4 years while still teaching dance. Beyond the stage, Stephanie found fulfillment in sharing her knowledge and love for dance with young aspiring artists. For over 14 years, she has served as an educator, guiding countless students on their own transformative journeys.

Through compassionate mentorship and unwavering support, Stephanie instills in her students not only the technical capabilities of dance but also the invaluable lessons of discipline, perseverance, and self-expression. As an educator, Stephanie continues to push the boundaries of artistic innovation, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment where creativity flourishes.
