Born and raised in Miami, FL, Stephanie Rivera began her dance training at a very young age. She has trained with renowned instructors from all over the United States in the styles of Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip-hop. At the early age of 16, she took on the roles of choreographer and instructor at studios all over South Florida.

After over a decade of educating young dancers, Stephanie has had impeccable success with her students receiving various choreography awards, winning regional and national solo titles, and numerous high-score awards at regional and national competitions. In 2019, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Nova Southeastern University, where she received the James & Nan Farquhar Performing and Visual Arts grant (2018) and recognition for her choreography at the American College Dance Association Southeastern Conference (2019).

Over the years, she has pursued higher education and acquired a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology from Nova Southeastern University in 2021. Currently, she is on track to finish a Master of Arts in Dance from Texas Tech University in 2025. Additionally, Ms. Rivera holds tenure as the High School Dance Director & Head Coach for one of the country’s most prestigious public magnet schools, Miami Arts Studio 6-12 @ Zelda Glazer.

Under her direction, the school has been recognized at the regional, state, and national levels. Ms. Rivera is constantly expanding her knowledge and hopes to make a difference in the field of dance equity, giving back to her students for many years to come.
